Stuart is at the heart of Tamblin's operations and provides a unique strategic vision for developing simple technical solutions to complex problems. He works with Tamblin's clients and technical teams to conceptualise future products, ensuring Tamblin remains at the forefront of Interactive TV technology.

Prior to starting Tamblin, Stuart was Technical Director at Module Communications. He was instrumental in facilitating the acquisition of the company by Grey Interactive, part of Grey Advertising Worldwide. Then, as Chief Technology Officer for Grey Interactive UK, he oversaw a team of over 40 technology professionals, including consultants, developers and systems specialists. Stuart has been working in media for over 15 years, starting off as a journalist and magazine editor in his native Australia, before coming to the UK 10 years ago to take part in the Internet revolution.

During 2006 Stuart spoke at the TeleTV Summit, the 21st Century World Communications Forum, Gambit and at the Westminster e-Forum.

Stuart is responsible for the day to day delivery of products and services to Tamblin's clients. He manages all facets of the production lifecycle ensuring Tamblin's products and services meet expectations, budgets and timescales.

In 1999, Stuart helped create Grey Interactive TV (GiTV), a specialist agency within Grey Interactive UK. As Technical Director of GiTV he managed the delivery of revolutionary interactive TV services for Procter and Gamble, Airtours and Cornhill Insurance onto Open... and NTL.

At Tamblin, Stuart has overseen the development of i-ZoneTV® Core from its first prototype to today's industry-leading software platform. His experience and attention to detail has helped steer Tamblin's technical experts to deliver exceptional solutions for top rating programmes such as Pop Idol, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, X Factor, Big Brother and the world's largest iTV service, the Sky Active Portal.

Mark Janes Commercial Director

Commercial Director

Mark is responsible for all the commercial aspects of Tamblin's business including sales, marketing, legal and public relations. Mark plays a pivotal role throughout the business development process, helping to develop strategies for Tamblin's clients that best utilise their resources while delivering them an optimum return on investment.

Mark is BBC trained with a career in television production including roles as a cameraman, producer and director. In the early 90's he joined Workhouse, a division of one of the UK's leading broadcast companies, Zenith Entertainment plc. Later, as Managing Director, he shaped the company's development of interactive media and television leading a team of over 40.

At Tamblin, Mark utilises his traditional TV production skills to drive commercial opportunities with broadcasters, network operators and production companies. His vital input in product development ensures Tamblin's future software releases integrate effectively with traditional broadcast engineering requirements.

Patrick Sansom

Chief Technology Officer

Patrick heads up Tamblin's product development team and is responsible for the strategic direction of all products. He also supports business development in a technical pre-sales role.

Patrick has a wealth of experience in iTV technology; including co-founder and Technical Director of WapTV, where he developed the WTVML Browser which now provides Sky's second generation interactive platform. He also spent an extended period consulting to Bell Canada on interactive strategy for their satellite and IPTV platforms as well as developing interactive participation TV services in Indonesia.

Flextech

Flextech Television uses i-ZoneTV® Core across all their digital channels including LivingTV, Bravo and Trouble. i-ZoneTV® has been fully integrated into Flextech’s internal play-out infrastructure, including their systems for managing data aggregation, trigger management, bandwidth scheduling and play out.

Tamblin’s developers worked closely with Flextech’s technical staff to deploy into a complicated infrastructure that dynamically manages interactive applications across satellite and cable. The use of i-ZoneTV® Core to produce interactive applications for any of their channels has proved hugely successful. Flextech has seen a dramatic increase in their ROI, with some applications taking in excess of £100,000 in revenues for a production outlay of less than £5,000.
